Ingredienten: 5 large potatoes, peeled or unpeeled, cut into 1 cm dice, 1 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp butter, 1 medium onion cut, 1 medium red or green pepper cut, 2 tsp Creole seasoning (ook op deze page onder: anders).
Voorbereiding:
Bereidingswijze: Bring a large pan of water to a boil, add potatoes and 1 tsp salt. Cook 3-4 minutes until potatoes are partially cooked, but still firm. Drain well. In teflon frying pan heat oil and butter, add onion. Cook, stirring constantly until softened, about 4 min. Add pepper, cook another 3 minutes. Add potatoes and increase heat to medium-high. Cook, turning occasionally with a spatula, until potatoes are tender and begin to brown, about 10 minutes. Stir in remaining salt and Creole seasoning, cook on high for 4-6 minutes, until potatoes are brownned.
